Alderley Edge Golf Club held its first "Open Day" on Sunday 28th June.

This was an opportunity for anyone to come along and see what the club has to offer, and it proved to be a huge success. A significant number of visitors made their way to the club on a hot and sunny day, to participate in various activities that included:

Thousands of balls were hit using the latest Titleist clubs, under the guidance of club pro Peter Bowring

This young man had never hit a ball before...but was soon pounding drives well over 250 yards !

But a bit of tuition from a wise old golfer like Brian Boughey is a good move......

This young man usually plays left handed, but seemed to do rather well standing on the other side of the ball !
